About Spencer Swim Safe
Spencer Swim Safe is a small not-for-profit organisation started in 2011 by Ben Spencer at just 21 years of age. The organisation’s aim is to provide FREE swimming lessons to under privileged children in Australia and around the world.
Spencer Swim Safe believes drowning is an unnecessary and preventable death and that everyone should have the opportunity to learn this lifesaving skill of swimming.
Spencer Swim Safe’s team of qualified swimming instructors kindly volunteer their time to teach children how to swim. Our swim safe program’s have provided under privileged children, in the community of Yarrabah in QLD and the Agape Home (Orphanage) in Thailand with swimming lessons, who would not have this opportunity otherwise.
Our committee are very dedicated to giving it our all and try our best to decrease the drowning rate – the smile on the kids faces when they finish a program is one I want to see again and again.
